On October 17th, XCMG Group's first power battery was launched offline at XCMG New Energy Power Technology Co., Ltd. Zhang Ke, member of the Standing Committee of the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone, Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhang Ke stated in his speech that the XCMG Power Battery PACK project is a key project for XCMG Group to seize the development opportunities of new energy engineering machinery and jointly promote its implementation with BYD. The total investment of this project is about 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 200 acres. It is planned to build several industry-leading power battery PACK production lines. Since the start of the infrastructure construction work in the factory area on May 28th, in just four months, XCMG Power has achieved contract signing, factory delivery, production line connectivity, and product offline, running at the "XCMG speed" on the green track

Innovation breakthrough showcases hardcore strength
The X01 power battery released offline this time is jointly developed by XCMG Group and BYD. This battery uses BYD blade cells, which have advantages such as low expansion rate, low thermal diffusion rate, and high space utilization, especially in terms of safety and stability, it is at the forefront of the industry.
This battery innovatively uses a double-layer stacking form of battery cells, which further improves the utilization of battery pack space compared to the commonly used single-layer stacking in the industry. The combination of high-strength PACK design and ultra strong thermal management system enables it to cover a wide range of application scenarios such as heavy trucks, light trucks, and cranes, effectively meeting the diverse operating conditions of commercial vehicles and construction machinery.
Digital Empowerment to Build a Smart Factory
XCMG Power plans the latest power battery PACK production line in the industry, achieving lean, intelligent, digital, flexible, and green production, and efficiently ensuring product quality and delivery capacity.
XCMG Power's Phase I production capacity is 6GWh, and the production line is compatible with more than ten types of blade cells. The entire production process is fully automated and informationized by robots, AGVs, intelligent logistics systems, and MES information systems. The hardware and software are intelligently interconnected, and the entire process is visible in real-time, ensuring product quality consistency. In addition, the production line can adjust the program at any time, complete the switching and combination of multiple varieties of the production line, form a flexible product line, and meet the personalized delivery of multiple varieties and small batches of commercial vehicles and construction machinery.
