After four years of separation, the 16th China (Beijing) International Exhibition and Technical Exchange Conference on Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery, and Mining Machinery (BICES 2023) grandly opened on September 20 in Beijing.

Since the first Beijing Exhibition in 1989, XCMG has participated in 16 consecutive exhibitions. At this exhibition, XCMG Group, with the theme of "Driving DIGITAL, GOING GREEN", showcases the "steel wisdom" of a major country to the world with 28 star products, intelligent technology achievements, and complete solutions from 8 major sectors.

XCMG Group's operating revenue has exceeded 100 billion yuan for three consecutive years, successfully completing the mixed ownership reform and the overall listing of the construction machinery sector. In the first half of 2023, XCMG Machinery's operating revenue, net profit attributable to shareholders, and return on equity all ranked first in the domestic industry. At present, XCMG's 15 host products occupy the first place in the domestic industry, and their products are exported to more than 190 countries and regions, covering more than 95% of the "the Belt and Road" routes.

Just a day ago at the 2023 China Construction Machinery Technology Innovation Summit and Prime Suppliers 500 Parts Launch Conference, XCMG firmly ranked third in the global industry and became the only Chinese manufacturer to maintain its top three position in the world for several consecutive years.

Undoubtedly, after three years of the epidemic, the external environment is complex and ever-changing, and the industry situation is becoming more severe. 80 years of determination to reach the summit

XCMG's predecessor can be traced back to the Huaxing Iron Works in 1943, and it has been 80 years of arduous and glorious struggle to this day.

At the opening ceremony, XCMG released its 80th anniversary themed video and commemorative logo to the world. XCMG Machinery President and Deputy Party Secretary Lu Chuan presented the 80th anniversary commemorative medal to outstanding dealers and customers. At the exhibition, XCMG upgraded its series of "Steel Praying Mantis" walking excavators, with 10 ton modular walking excavators and 20 ton walking excavators particularly eye-catching. Their release marks XCMG's formation of a series of walking excavator systems covering 8 ton, 10 ton, 11 ton, 12 ton, and 20 ton levels, providing more solutions for emergency rescue and mountain special operations!

Next, there will be a stunning introduction of XCMG's complete set of highly mobile rescue and support equipment: the only rubber tracked bulldozer in Asia with a maximum speed of 58 kilometers per hour in all terrain; The industry's pioneering mechanical steering technology and high-speed excavators that can stably travel at speeds of over 80 kilometers per hour are outstanding examples of contemporary emergency rescue equipment in China.

In recent years, XCMG has accelerated the transformation and upgrading of its industry through the "Five Modernizations", achieving the flowering of multiple industrial sectors. The performance report for the first half of 2023 released in August showed that XCMG's strategic emerging industries such as high-altitude operation machinery, mining machinery, environmental sanitation machinery, port machinery, and agricultural machinery had a revenue of 12.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.5%, accounting for 23.99% of the operating income, and a year-on-year increase of 8.18 percentage points.

XCMG is the earliest Chinese construction machinery brand to go global. Over the course of more than 30 years of internationalization, the annual total export volume and overseas revenue have consistently ranked first in the Chinese industry. Especially in the past 10 years, XCMG has actively responded to the "the Belt and Road" initiative, ranking first in the export market share of major countries, and has cooperated with more than 100 major projects, with actual investment of more than 3 billion yuan. At this year's BICES exhibition, XCMG launched 15 new energy host products, accounting for about 60% of the total number of products exhibited.
