Witnessed by The Ambassador! XCMG Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Portugal's Matifo Group

Recently, XCMG signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Portuguese construction and new energy giant, Matifo Group, in which the two parties agreed to launch in-depth co-operation on the wide application of sanitation and new energy equipment in Portugal.

Chinese Ambassador to Portugal Zhao Bentang was present to witness the ceremony, and Liu Jiansen, Vice President of XCMG Machinery and General Manager of XCMG Import & Export, signed the Memorandum of Co-operation with Martins, Chairman of Matifo.

At the signing ceremony, Liu Jiansen said that XCMG will unswervingly take the road of internationalisation and green development to become a leading enterprise in low-carbon emission reduction. Matifo Group is a well-known enterprise in the field of metal construction and renewable energy in Portugal. This cooperation will enable more green, environmentally friendly and efficient XCMG new energy products to enter the Portuguese market and contribute to the local economic development.

Martins said that XCMG is a globally renowned construction machinery enterprise with a good reputation in Europe. XCMG's industrial layout and channel development in Europe has shown Matifo the confidence and determination of XCMG's commitment to global green development, and we will work together with XCMG to promote the green and sustainable development of Portugal.

Ambassador Zhao Bentang congratulated the successful cooperation between the two parties and said that the successful cooperation between XCMG and Mathieu is another welcome achievement of the Sino-Portuguese joint construction of the "Belt and Road", which is of far-reaching significance in promoting the cooperation between Sino-Portuguese enterprises and the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries.

In recent years, XCMG has comprehensively enhanced its channel network layout in Europe. In the recently concluded 69th Agricultural and Earthmoving Machinery Exhibition in Portugal, XCMG's European customised excavator models were exhibited in the exhibition, which were sold out on the first day and a large number of intentional orders were harvested at the same time. XCMG's newest product technology and excellent product quality triggered a high degree of attention from the local industry.
